BIKE DIMENSIONS

Designed to give growing young riders a comfortable and confidence-inspiring fit, the RFN Warrior SX-E500 measures approximately 1044 mm long, 578 mm wide and 676 mm high, with a 490 mm seat height and 685 mm wheelbase. Its compact proportions help keep the bike manageable and easy to control, while providing a little more size and presence for riders progressing onto a larger electric off-road bike. The SX-E500 is recommended for children aged approximately 4 to 8 years, although rider height, ability and confidence should always be considered when choosing the right bike.

SPEED SETTINGS

The RFN Kids Warrior SX-E500 includes three adjustable speed settings;

• Low - 9 mph
• Mid - 13 mph
• High - 18 mph

These speed settings allow parents full control over how fast their child rides. Starting at a lower speed and gradually increasing it helps to build confidence over time and ensures a safe, manageable riding experience, whilst helping the rider develop new skills, such as coordination and throttle control at a pace that feels right for them.

THROTTLE & SAFETY FEATURES

The RFN SX-E500 is fitted with a smooth, easy- to-use throttle that’s ideal for young riders who are still learning. Power comes in gently, not all at once, helping to avoid sudden bursts of speed and giving parents confidence that their child is riding safely as they build their skills. There’s also a simple battery indicator built into the the throttle, so it’s easy to check the charge before heading out, during rides or when you get back. 

Safety is a key part of the RFN Warrior SX-E500, with a lanyard-style safety cut-off switch designed to stop the bike quickly if the rider becomes separated from it. This provides added reassurance for parents and helps young riders build confidence in a more controlled environment. The bike also features a secure power-lock cover and enclosed chainguard, helping to reduce access to moving components and improve overall rider safety.

BRAKE SYSTEM

Control is made easy on the RFN Warrior SX-E500, with cable-operated brakes and light-action brake levers designed to be comfortable for smaller hands. The levers are easy to pull, helping younger riders slow down smoothly and confidently without needing excessive force. This simple, predictable braking setup makes it easier for beginners to manage their speed while giving parents added reassurance as riding skills develop.

The RFN Warrior SX-E500 steps up braking performance with front and rear disc brakes, giving young riders greater control and more balanced stopping power. Unlike the SX-E400, which uses a rear brake only, the E500 allows braking force to be shared across both wheels, helping the bike feel more stable and predictable when slowing down. This added braking capability is particularly useful as riders progress to the E500’s higher speeds, providing extra confidence and control on a variety of surfaces.

36V 5.2Ah BATTERY

Longer adventures are powered by a removable 36V 5.2Ah lithium battery, offering convenient charging and plenty of riding time for younger riders. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours, while the three selectable riding modes allow battery use and performance to be balanced as confidence develops. Eco Mode (9 mph) provides the longest ride time, with up to approximately 11 miles or 2 hours of use, while Standard Mode (around 13 mph) and Sport Mode (18 mph) use more power as speed increases. Actual riding time will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, riding style and how frequently full throttle is used.

FULL SUSPENSION

The RFN Warrior SX-E500 is equipped with front and rear suspension to help smooth out bumps and uneven terrain, giving younger riders a more comfortable and controlled off-road experience. By absorbing impacts from rough ground, the suspension helps keep the bike more stable and reduces the amount of vibration transferred through the handlebars and seat. This added comfort and control can help beginner riders feel more confident when riding across grass, tracks and light off-road terrain.

ALL TERRAIN TYRES

The RFN Warrior SX-E500 features 14-inch wheels with off-road tyres, giving younger riders a stable and confidence-inspiring setup across a variety of surfaces. The chunky tread helps provide extra grip on grass, dirt, mud and loose ground, while the compact wheel size keeps the bike easy to handle and manoeuvre. This combination of traction and control makes the SX-E500 well suited to beginner off-road riding, helping riders feel more secure as they build their skills.

MOTOR AND POWER

The RFN Warrior SX-E500 is powered by a 350W brushless electric motor with up to 500W peak output, giving young riders a noticeable step up in performance while still delivering smooth and predictable power. The motor uses a chain-drive system to transfer power to the rear wheel, creating a responsive and familiar off-road riding feel. Combined with a sine-wave controller, the SX-E500 provides controlled acceleration and strong performance across its three speed modes, making it well suited to riders who are ready to progress onto a more capable electric bike.
